Comments: The Lumberjanes and their parents are in a competition to win a scavenger hunt. April vs Ripley and their teams.
One of the Lumberjanes has a grandmother. This grandmother though is a surprise. She is more like a wolf in sheep’s clothing or grandmama’s.
The art is done in a style fit for children more than adults. Anyone could and can enjoy it. The Lumberjanes are drawn a bit on the pudgy side. The mystical creature they encounter is drawn with an evil look and glowing red eyes.
This story now has very little happening in it. It focuses on the competition which is really tame.
Molly and Mal show some embarrassment over the fact they care about each other more than just as friends. It could be a touchy subject but it is well handled here.
