Merlin must search throughout all time for twelve men to be the new Knights of the Round Table. The story then focuses on a football team called the Knights a group of twelve men. These twelve have a mission to accomplish.
The twelve are given powers from the Lady of the Table. Arthur King leads them into battle his Knights of Justice. Morgana’s forces lead by Lord Viper fight back.
This is an all-ages title. Both the writing and art are simple and easy to follow.
Here we see the power of love is stronger than Morgana’s magic. Sir Lance and Sir Breeze share a moment and it breaks the spell.
Lord Viper and his Warlords attack Camelot but with Arthur King defending it with help, the battle goes against Lord Viper.
Morgana has a major surprise up her magical sleeve. The dragon is a huge fire-breathing monster. With Merlin’s magic, Arthur has a chance. We get to see two dragons going at it. The art depicts the battle and it is not overly scary or too violently shown.
Modern-day football players take up the mantel of protecting Camelot from the forces of evil. This book is a fun read for a younger audience.
