Comments: It’s 1692 we get to witness a good old-fashioned witch burning. At least that is what it looks like. The girl looks and acts innocent. The church acts out of faith to do good and protect others.
Rosey a little girl has a big imagination. Rose now somehow does get to go on one adventure that starts from her imagination.
This book is way too short and barely gets into the story. Rose though does suffer a loss. This issue does set up things in two worlds.
Rose is drawn as a cute little girl. She is nice and loves to play. Her other world is one she also plays in. Is it real or just make-believe? How will the tragedy Rose has just suffered affect her and her tie to this other world?
This looks like it will be a comic filled with drama and heartache with a child who uses her imagination to escape from it. It would be nice to see more from this comic and have it spring a surprise on us but probably not.
