The bblack-and-whiteart style beautifully illustrates the outdoor scenes and has a nice amount of detail in the buildings and people. John takes us into the countryside and the woods which are a scenic delight to behold.
John on his journey begins to enjoy life and not just exist but truly live life. John continues onward enjoying a simple life and studying the plants along the way. He does put up with many hardships. Yet his attitude remains positive.
John Muir does not give up easily. He pushes on. As he journeys on and explores the land he sees so many wonderful things in nature. He also travels by water on ships. He finally makes it to Western soil.
John gets a traveling companion in Chilwell. They both know how to enjoy the wonders of nature its plants and animals. The Sequoia trees are shown and they look majestic.
John finally makes it to the Grand Canyon. It is gorgeous in all its beauty.
The adventures John has are thrilling in all that he sees. The man knows how to love life to the fullest.
