Comments: Cole and Pollack are sent to help out with a situation. They are Police Officers doing their duty. There is a group of both humans and bloomers and violence does break out.
The Blooming is happening only problem is the unbloomed some of them do not want to bloom. This causes problems.
Cole is uncomfortable around the bloom. He had a wife who bloomed and his reaction was not good. The look back though does not tell the reader enough you will be left wondering what else happened.
The planet-human hybrids are illustrated nicely. Other than that the art just illustrates people standing around.
The story moves slowly with little happening in it. Yes, the two policeofficerss are looking into the interaction of bloomed and unbloomed. Nothing happens though.
These two officers also need to learn a lot more about them so we care about them and what happens with them.
The blooming is not something that can be controlled so anyone could change. Is this the next step in human evolution?
