Comments: Edwin’s totem is attacking him and others. Here two totems are attacking. Edwin and Bait must fight for their lives. The fighting is illustrated slowly. There is no excitement to it.
The story is so hard to follow if you can. There needs to be a reason given for what is going on and there is not.
The characters find it hard to recognize who they are why they are there and what they are doing.
The totems are slightly interesting. Again though more about them needs to be revealed. What happens if the outer part of a totem is destroyed? Is there a monster inside that can get loose? No one seems to know.
Bait has been illustrated in some amazing poses in other issues as he fights. Here that is not done at all. The times he fights it is hard to tell exactly what he is doing. The fact he has no arms and uses his legs in place of them is not brought out here at all. He is such a great character, he just needs to be used better.
House Slaughter does not live up to its name.
