Comments: Jace is looking out for a group of children and while he goes on his revenge spree Maven babysits. Jace in his mind the only way to avenge those lost to him and to protect the children under his care is to reign death on the Order of the Dragon. Jace has become hardened.
Both House Slaughter and House Boucher send everyone out armed and on the hunt for Jace. Within these Houses, there is drama going on and court intrigue.
There are a lot of not-quite-sane people belonging to these Houses. Pretty much anyone involved with them is off and they are not people who could fit in with normal people. There are many psychotic members in these Houses. Of course, the one hunting them Jace might be the most psychotic of all.
The whole book is about killing. A little more to the story would be nice to see. Also in a comic about people who kill monsters, it might be nice to see a monster.
If you enjoy a bunch of killers who hunt monsters and kill them and also who are mostly stuck-up scary idiots you might enjoy this book. Jace as well is within these pages he is a ruthless killer who just will not stop.
