Comments: “Stealth” This story is about a predator as we see a man and woman making love. This story takes a turn that is expected as it turns into horror. The art beautifully shows off what is happening. The characters look amazing with just the right amount of detail.
“Something is Killing the Children: A Monster Hunter Walks into a Bar, Part Four” Erica is in a bar listening to Vee recount her story about the six dead kills. It did take a toll on her. The story is too short here you barely get into it before it’s over. Erica does look good with her one big green eye.
“You Can’t Cheat 10,000 Hours” All Ali’s friends are huge successes except her. Then things start to change after she asks for success. Well, she gets what she asked for just not how she wanted it. The art is colored beautifully and the colors are outstanding. The art style is slightly cartoonish.
“I Can’t Take You Anywhere” A couple of situations are pictured here that the title applies to.
The pin-ups between stories are works of art. They do bring out the horror you expect from this book.
“The War, Part Seven” Well this is the end of this story. It ends not as one might expect but perhaps as it should. The horrors of war are shown loud and clear here.
