Comments: “Dying For Quiet” Marie goes to a retreat seeking quiet. Well, she does start to get impatient, and then she finds the peace and quiet she was looking for just not in the way she expected. This story looks good as the illustrations show Marie as a woman affected by stress and it shows her finding peace. The story needed to have a better direction and flow.
“In Bloom” So people and plants are joining together. Yes, it is becoming the in thing to become part plant. People are both for and against this happening. The art does look great showing the part plant/part animal humans. This is a preview of a coming comic series. It is a look at how the world could be.
“All Eyes On Me” Here we see a God or monster and its servant a beautiful woman. These two are planning to take over humanity. They have a plan and it is reaching fruition. Will humanity survive?
“I Can’t Take You Anywhere” is Two weird one-panel cartoons that make no sense. The art gives the cartoons an old-style feel to them.
“The War, Part Three” This part is all about relationships. War is never nice and it is the people waiting to see what happens next and how they will suffer because of this war that feel its pain the most.
This collection of horror stories has some good and bad to them. Maybe just maybe you might feel a chill down your spine as you read some of these.
