Comments: Annabel gets to meet Tilly. The two hit it off with Tilly being the one in charge. Annabel has her whole life planned out. She is happy and has accepted that her parents are divorced.
Then we skip ahead to the present and Annabel and Adira are seeing to Annabel’s feeding. So Annabel is somehow two beings. The evil side has planted a seed inside Annabel and what this means is anyone’s guess. Some mystery is good but with zero explanation it’s not. The story here just tells you nothing. The creature Annabel is beautifully illustrated having a unique appearance.
Jessica is not seen in this issue at all. She needed to be seen as Jessica and with Death’s scythe.
The series has nothing happening in it. No action, no suspense, no drama, no building up to something, no fighting. The art does look good but a comic needs more than that.
The best part of this comic series was Jessica and now without her in it, there is no direction and no reason to the story.
