All the underwater creatures here in this all ages comic are illustrated as cute things. The backgrounds as well for the ocean floor is filled with plants and all are done in a nice simple colorful style.
The underwater city of Atlanticus is a beautiful place. Gillbert’s parents rule it so he is a prince.
Young Gillbert is an adventurous lad so he is easily distracted. When a strange mermaid calls him he follows. They end up in Wewillrocktopeeps a partying place.
Gillbert is given a tour of the center of the oceans and there he meets lots of new friends.
Now the Pyrockians want Atlanticus back since they had it a long time ago. A new friend for Gillbert and his parents leads to peace as she comes up with a surprising way to end the fighting.
This is a great comic for a young reader who will enjoy the simple easy to follow storyline and the art which has a cartoon style that a younger reader will love. Even though this is a younger reader comic at any age could enjoy it.
