Comments: Geronimo Stilton is busy running his newspaper. Yet he still rushes out to investgate a brea-smelling three-headed monster with Thea.
The scenes of the fog in New Mouse City look amazing. The subdued use of color and shading are done perfectly. The Pirate ship is a thing of beauty as it sails the seas.
Geronimo and his family find the Briney-Bones a long lost pirate ship and onboard it they meet Captain Blackrat. They become the Captain’s new crew. They all have one high seas adventure with some danger thrown in. Everything that happens does seem kind of staged and there is a reason for that.
Geronimo does enjoy his pirate adventure. He does learn to relax some. You can not be all work and no play. Everyone needs a little down time.
The art illustrates all these characters in a lovely fashion giving these rodents a breath of life as they act human and you will think of them as human being and care about what happens to each one.
