Comments: “Episode Zero” Ken the Eagle, Joe the Condor, Jun the Swan, Jinpei the Swallow, and Ryu the Owl make up the team of Gatchman. They spring into action against Galactor and Berg Katse his Commander. There is lots of fast-paced action. Yes, there is a panty shot of Jun’s undies. It is expected and nicely delivered. Ken leads the team as a true leader. The art is nicely detailed and the colors are amazing, the characters are all charismatic. The full threat of Galactor needed to be made more clear. The focus though is on the Gotchman team.
“Inner Compass” Red Impulse is there to help when needed. Ken continued due to Red Impulse pushing him. It is hinted that Red Impulse may be more than just a concerned pilot.
“The Rival” Zar Malverteco one of Galactor’s Sub Commanders is out to get revenge on Berg Katse. Berg Katse looks dashing as he kills.
The only thing wrong with this book is it is over too quickly, these three stories are way too short. The stories though do make great introductory stories.
It is great the way each character is used as much as the next. You get to see them all in their glory.
