Comments: This is a short eight-page comic done in black and white art. This issue focuses on Yarko and explains his origin.
Yarko suffers a tragic event in his life one that changes him forever. The story and art both needed to bring across the shattering impact on his life better.
Yarko has an experience much like Doctor Strange does in the Marvel Comics, lots of similarities and some differences too. It would stand out on its own better if we had the chance to learn more about Yarko and the kind of man he is. We do get a glimpse of that but a little more in-depth would have been better. More pages to this issue would have made it better. Yarko has some mystery about him and to explore his abilities more would be great to see.
The style of the comic does go back to the 1970s and 80s when they were done in a style that was more classy.
Yarko is a character that it would be fun and exciting to delve more into.
