Comments: “Wallflower” The introduction with Archimedes does have him and a few others gathered but with no real purpose they are just there. The art is great and the one woman is dressed rather nicely.
“Scattercrow Initiation” Scattercrow does make for a scary creature in the illustrations. The ending leaves you guessing. The story never focuses enough.
“Reflections In A Dark Pool” Humans live in fear and ignorance and it causes them to lose so much.
“Pumpkin Smoosher” Here a creature is born of pumpkin and man. It is a frightening sight. The story is a sad one. We are shown here it takes a monster to kill a monster. One poor girl suffers because of it and her emotions are plain to see in this story.
“The Wire Brain” Who ever thought being cured of cancer would be the thing that leads to this unfortunate situation. The art in this old style horror story which resembles an old style horror movie is something you will not forget.
“The Other Side” Three astronauts are on their way to the dark side of the moon. Their visit to the moon turns into a nightmare. The story keeps you guessing as to what is really going on.
These stories will have you on the edge of your seat if you’re not cringing underneath it.
