Comments: Here is the story of “The King”, Elvis Aaron Presley.
The art has a photographic look to it. The colors are gorgeously done.
As a child Elvis was influenced by Blues singers. He listened to a lot of the greats.
Elvis is not doing great but then he joins Sun Studio and things start to improve a lot. They have looked after some of the other greats such as Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Carl Perkins.
Elvis does use his singing career to launch his acting career.
The Rock and Roll era saw many other stars come to light. Elvis though was one of the truly great.
The art throughout this book will have you glued to the page. It captures the King as he was in life.
Elvis’s movie career keeps going and his songs and singing are a big part of each one. “King Creole” was considered one of his best movies and had many of his songs in it.
We see Elvis is a generous man. He does donate to charity.
You will learn many facts about the King here that you probably did not know. Especially if you are younger.
In 1973 he starts having health problems. In 1976 on August 16th Elvis is found dead at his home in Memphis.
The King is dead long live the King. He will be dearly remembered forever by all his fans. He was and is a Legend.
