Comments: On Arrakis, the desert planet Duke Leto Atreides finds himself under attack. The Sardaukar lead by Colonel Bashar does lead a violent assault on the Atreides. Duke Leto is their target.
Two young boys are trained to be killers and members of the Sardaukar. Jopati does survive all the training. He becomes Sardaukar.
There is so much court intrigue.
The art shows you a rough and tough group of soldiers in the Sardaukar. These men follow orders and they know how to fight. The Emperor sends them in when he wants a job done no matter what. Their loyalty is without fail.
Jopati is one man whose whole life has been changed. He could have turned out so much more differently if only the situations in his life had happened differently.
The story has a lot going on making it hard to follow everything. Jopati is someone you can identify with as he is just a man. He has lost much and gained some. You will like him and still have some fear of him.
