Comments: This Demi-God is a tall muscular being. Here we are given the origin story of Demi-God. It is wonderful the way Jason McAndros aka Demi-God talks to the reader.
Jason may be a bit of a nerd or geek but when push comes to shove he does the right thing. There is a lot of time spent on the scene with Daphne and her b/f. Her b/f Tommy is shown as a grade A jerk and loser it will have you wondering why she is even with him. Daphne is illustrated as a gorgeous blonde haired girl with a killer body.
Jason is acting like a hero when something truly amazing happens to him. He is transformed and has the strength of Hercules. So there is a Greek tie-in. The villains we see lined up for coming issues will have you wanting to see more.
This is a fun exciting introduction to a new super-hero. Demi-God is mythological and updated for the modern world. He comes across as a bit stuck up which fits perfectly with his character.
Jason has just traded up in his life. Demi-God is the new and improved version.
