The love between them is a hi-lite of the story. They are truly a family that care about each other deeply. The love is pierced by a dagger of ill fate.
The father wants only to protect his children. The son just wants to survive. The daughter wants to live her life to its fullest. She is a strong willed young lady this Jonnie.
