Comments: England, 1942 is the setting. A mother Adeline and her daughter Chloe go to a new house. They both are played by talented actresses. Chloe is one cute little girl. Adeline is a beautiful woman.
As the doll appears to Chloe you can just feel the evil emanating off of it. Then it seems to move by itself. Can you imagine if this actually happened to you.
A game of hide and seek in the woods takes a bad turn. Chloe has gone missing and her mother will stop at nothing to get her back. When she gets a chance she acts and so does the evil doll.
This movie takes one strange and totally unpredictable twisted turn. The story completely changes.
Adeline/Mary lives in two worlds but which one is real? Are either or both? This movie just keeps getting weirder.
A doctor becomes the focus of the movie. He runs an insane asylum. Then it changes yet again.
75 years in the future two paranormal investigators show up at the asylum. Too much is not explained. The doll is after them or is it. It is hard to know for sure what is going on. The movie needs focus.
The doll effects are done great and they will have you looking over your shoulder. The acting is good. The story is where this movie suffers. It starts out great than jumps around. It is like there are three different stories going on.
