Comments: Mr. Sivart is an assassin, and you get a long description of him. Next, a naked woman is being held captive, and a man who is her captor is with her. A little information is given about them but not nearly enough. Instead, the story focuses on describing in extreme detail the situation they are in and does not tell you anything about the story plot. Anechka is the woman, and she is a very capable and strong one.
Ari is part of a law enforcement organization. There is not much I snorid about it and exactly what it does. Now Ari gets caught in a trap and the description of his ability to deal with it goes on for a whole chapter. Well, Ari’s body isequippedd to handle a lot.
Aiden is mentioned and his body augmentations are in extreme detail.
Mr. Sivart is mentioned again and we learn how he is a germaphobe.
We finally get into Sashimi and what it is. It is meat grown from the cells of a human being. A business is made up around it. Is it legal? We do learn a little more here about the operation.
As Aiden, Ari, Anechka and the twins all join up and the story, we do get action. This team does go great together. Having them in action only takes up one short section in the book.
The story though is so not connected from one chapter to the next. You are introduced to characters that are not connected to the story. The story may be about this genetically created human meat yet it is talked about so very infrequently. The story needs a focus.
The MLM is mentioned as some sort of organization that monitors illegal food. A way better description of what and who they are is needed.
This is the second book in this series and hopefully the third will tie some story threads together.
