Comments: Thulsa Doom has the Black Stone and Kull lies dying at his feet. Thulsa Doom is a living skeleton reeking of evil. He has big plans to conquer the world. This warlock is a nightmare treading upon the Earth.
Conan steps in to battle Thulsa Doom. Somehow Conan has an advantage that he loses for a good sword. A sword in his hands is like death. Conan fights on against this unholy dark magic threat. Thulsa Doom taps into the magic of the Black Stone as never before while Conan strikes.
Kull is left deeply injured and Brule his bodyguard heads home. Conan as well is off to wander and find new adventures.
The art is perfect for the story in the timelines. The dark settings are beautifully illustrated. The characters are rough and they do stand out here.
Thulsa Doom is used the most to show he is a threat on a grand scale. Conan though as he battles on is shown just how tough he is. The Cimmerian just does not give up. He is a barbarian who faces great odds yet finds a way to defeat them.
