Comments: Here we get a look back at Captain Canuck aka Tom Evans as a boy. We get to see his childhood and what shaped him into the man he is today.
There is a man in a red suit who is he and why is he fighting? Is he Tom? What is going on in the present is a mystery as nothing is explained.  The man is called Sur Savay.
The design of Sur Savay’s costume looks great. The red with the design on it is amazing.
This issue does set up for a fight to come next issue. So this issue itself does not have a lot of action.
This comic is called Captain Canuck yet only Tom or Sur Savay are in it, no Captain Canuck. I expected more and the reader should too. The art looks fine. It has some nicely done colouring as well.
Why is Tom dressed up in that red suit? How did he get it?
Tom does come across as a likable person. His heroics are brought out too. Tom Evans is and will be a hero fighting for what he believes in.
