Comments: “We are the Slayers: Epilogue” The story starts out confusing in who are these two guys and why are we seeing this.
Giles now leads a team of Buffy, Faith, Kendra, and Willow. Three slayers and a witch. Plus a few others.
The vampires we see somehow seem different. They die and then come back. The team engages in one great battle with lots of vampires falling. Three slayers. a witch and an ex-Watcher the vampires never stood a chance.
In “Wondrous and Surprising Magic” Tara and Willow are sharing a loving moment together. We get to see true magic here. This story is so beautifully written and the illustrations go along perfectly to deliver the feelings of love.
“Is This What I Wanted” Xander does get a look at how things could be different and he realizes he likes living in Sunnydale with his friends. This is a nice story with a cute demon thrown in.
“Mirror’s Don’t Lie” Spike meets a powerful witch called Disco Witch. She knows how to treat a vampire and is not afraid of Spike. Spike well is smart enough not to push his luck with a witch. They meet and part end of the story.
“Trust the Process” Buffy looks absolutely stunning. We are shown that even a Slayer can be affected by the stress of her slaying. Xander is gay? Wow, this is news.
Buffy is feeling everyone else has a focus in life but her.
This story is full of surprises. Willow looks like a hard-ass superhero. What is up here with Willow the Vampire Slayer? Buffy a helpless distraction.
Is this some alternate universe story?
This is a nice collection of stories with vamps being put to rest and lots of Slayers.
