Roof is tired and fed up with his captures and Captain Bly sees him regain his pride. Roof steps up and becomes a man.
Briar and Spider have a plan as well. The cranes figure into it in ways that will surprise. The cranes are a nice touch to this issue, especially how they are used.
Grendrid is still following Briar Rose. Grendrid has powerful magic. Briar though is coming after her and Briar has gotten back some of her fighting attitude. She fights to not sleep and she fights to live. This hope is what she has needed.

This issue delivered some action, some drama, and character development.
