Comments: Prince Charming here is not so charming. Princess Briar Rose is gorgeous yet here she has been brought up secluded. When she falls asleep things change from what you know. This story does change things up and Briar Rose’s father and husband Prince Charming are not what you expect.
Then one hundred years later. Briar Rose awakes and wonders around not knowing what to do. She may have slept for a hundred years yet she can still kick butt.
The world she has awoken into is a hard one. The world is not the only thing that has moved on as we see the people living there. People and creatures have evolved. Sleeping Beauty aka Princess Briar Rose does adapt fast to her new environment.
The art beautifully presents this new world and all who dwell within it. Briar Rose nicknamed Rat is drawn perfectly to suit the story. She is a skinny beauty just awoken. Briar Rose, now she is something special. This Princess will change the world if she does not destroy it first.
Sleeping Beauty was never like this.
