Comments: “Bloodstrike # 1” Bloodstrike is in one bad situation. When you see how messed up he is you will be glad it’s not you. Then we go back in time to find out how he got in this situation.
Bloodstrike enters a Japanese house and goes all slice and dice happy on the security there. Tragedy Ann awaits him she is an old girlfriend ready to collect the price on his head. That’s how he ends up being cut in half.
Cabott comes across as a serious operative. Bloodwulf is a killer who enjoys playing with his food.
Bloodstrike is having a bad day. He lost something very valuable to him.
“Bloodstrike # 2” Professor Knight is fighting a woman. His mission is to find Twilight. These two have a hard-hitting brawl.
Bloodstrike and Cabot are both fighting a lot. Cabot just wants to bring Bloodstrike home. Bloodstrike has other ideas.
The bodies are drawn too wide as compared to a normal person.
Bloodstrike does get an unpleasant surprise after he teleports away with Cabbot in tow.

“Youngblood (2017) # 4”
“Youngblood (2017) # 5”
“Brigade # 1 (Wizard World)”
“Brigade # 1 (Remastered 2022)” Battlestone, Coldsnap, Seahawk, Atlas, Thermal, Status and Kayo make up Brigade. This team does work great as a team. Well except for Seahawk being a bit too bloodthirsty. The story flows way too fast.
The introduction to the team is well enough done. You meet each of the characters except Status who shows up later. The two brothers fight as brothers tend to only here they have powers. Battlestone makes for a stern leader.
The art varies with so many artists working on this book. Some styles are gorgeous and others more amateurish.
The use of Atlas in the fighting did not work. Having him just stand outside while the other members fight just seems wrong. Having the team fight other people with powers using them for evil would have been better.
Battlestone is the best character in this issue. He is the team leader and he is shown knowing what to do to lead. He comes across as a natural-born leader.
