Comments: “Salvage Depot” Poor Archie is always in need of help and Betty is more than willing to help. Her dad here does point out this fact The classic style art is gorgeous showcasing these characters.
“Bong!” Hearing bells signifies you are in love. Well, it could also signify other things as well. Betty and Archie are illustrated to perfection here. They are two young teens in love.
“Brake It Up!” This is an ad for Benbix brakes using Archie characters. It uses a little humor to get the point across.
“Country Club” Archie shows Betty’s cousin around town. A lot of interesting and funny things happen throughout this story. Archie ends up a hero, Reggie is confused and Jughead well is Jughead. Beautifully done artwork fills this story.
In “The Dating Game” Betty competes for Archie’s affection against Veronica. Betty for being an honest, good-natured girl can be downright sneaky if it involves getting Archie.
“In Hot Water” Poor Archie having a stuffy nose with two girls around competing for his affection makes him decide not to be around them is the safest thing for his stuffy nose and him.
The old-time ads are fun to see.
The art style is amazingly beautifully done. The colors are rich and full. The stories are fun. The characters are beloved ones. You can not go wrong here.
