Chapter 1: Origins.
Batman is based on pulp heroes. His origin is one of tragedy.
This book is full of gorgeous artwork from various comic books about the Batman.
The origin of Batman has changed over the years but only slightly. The main part has stayed the same. A young boy loses his parents and it affects him so much he becomes a crime fighter and eventually the Batman. It is a strong powerful story.
Chapter 2: Creating the Mythos.
The Bat Signal is a huge part of the mythos of Batman as it was used to summon him. Also, of course, the Batmobile played a major role. The car has gone through a lot of changes and updates over the years. Batman has had so many interesting characters enter his life. They have all added to his story.
Chapter 3: The Batman Family.
Here we look at Alfred, all the different Robins, Batwoman and Batgirl plus a few others that factor in Batman’s life. Batman is presented as a loner yet his life is always filled with others willing to help him and his mission.
There are so many pictures from the comic books and the art is so beautifully presented.
Chapter 4: Allies, Friends, and Lovers.
Batman has certainly had his fair share of romantic engagements. The women in his life have all been strong ones who could handle being a part of his life. He has also been involved with teams and with individuals who he could call friends. Yes, Batman has friends in his life. There have been some powerful moments in Batman’s life and they are tied to his friends. There is a relationship between Batman and Superman.

Batman certainly has a varied gallery of villains. They started off with Catwoman and the Joker. The list of villains is endless. Some are so dark. Batman has been through so much and endured more than most anyone. The more of his villains you ee the more you will want to see.

Batman has traveled to alien worlds and faced alien beings. He was once even a god. Batman has done it all and been through it all. The man is just a man but what he has accomplished and what he can do is simply amazing.
