Comments: Dr. Gitu does finish his life’s work just before he is finished. Barbarella arrives and finds a mess.
The art is in a style for a younger audience. It is basic with no frills nothing to pop out at you. It is there and that is about it.
Now as this adventure really starts Barbarella travels somewhere then we shift to Mars 10,000 years in the past. Her method of travel strange and strangely done. Dejah Thoris joins her and these two both try to figure out what this mirror is and does and where they are.
Barbarella is illustrated to look like a child at times. Dejah as well is not illustrated to show off her womanly charms at all.
There are mysteries within these pages. Yet there are no clues at all to the answers.
These two women have no reason for them being brought together and no clue is given. The giant fish waiting to eat them is set up in a cute fashion.
