Comments: B.B. is a young teen-age girl in the future after the world has suffered. She has a friend Chulita. The two of them have a radio program. B.B. is going on a walk about in this new world.
This world and the way the community here is shown is different. B.B. has a pet Buttercup and yes that is an alligator. They do have a friendly relationship going on.
The story ends on one thrilling cliffhanger.
The character of B.B. is a wonderful teen who just wants her freedom. The story here is setting up the series. There is little that actually happens in this issue. You do get to see B.B. and her father disagree.
B.B. is the star here and once this series gets going she will be off on a wondrous adventure just in this issue that has not started yet. B.B.’s attitude is positive and her thirst for adventure is great to see in a young person.
