Comments: A mother Kayla and her son Jake are going to spend time with her sister at Christmas. Aunt Tiana and her son Baby Al are families and after the loss, Kayla and Jake suffered family should be comforting to have around.
The family ends up going to church and there they meet Sister Anna and who is not your ordinary Sister. She has a dark side and a strange side too. Her actions say she is someone up to something and to be very careful around her. Well actually her actions would suggest you run fast and get away while you can.
For a past mistake every one hundred years an atonement is taken. Jake, he is a special boy. He has suffered a loss and the last thing he needs is some High Priestess after him. And what is up with the ghostly figure?
Kayla and her sister Tiana have some friction between them. These two have been apart for a long time. Now both are making an effort to mend things. Family is important.
The art is done showing off the characters as normal people just living their lives until something decides to get involved in their lives.
This issue does just start to hint at the supernatural things to come. It builds up some suspense.
