Comments: “One Person’s Trash” Archie and Jughead find a new business venture. These two though with their luck find that things start out smoothly but rarely stay that way. It is always fun to watch these two and the trouble they get into.
“Out On A Limb!” Mr. Weatherbee does jump to conclusions easily. He thinks before he gets the facts. The art is done in the older style and is wonderful to see.
“Prank and File” Laurie gets two new assistants in Linda and Alec after their scheme backfires. Linda is not so easily outsmarted.
“The Voting Game” Reggie may not play fair but Juggie plays smart. Archie with Jughead are a team that just can not be beat these two together could get Archie into the White House.
“Bubble-Trouble” Bubbles have invaded the Riverdale High. Archie is one determined lad. When he sets his mind to something it stays set. The bubbles are beautifully drawn and colored.
“Docudramarama” Veronica Lodge actually does have some good ideas. This one is pretty funny to making fun of making an amateur documentary.
“I Spy” Well Mr. Lodge is out for Archie but Archie loves him anyway. Archie is so positive. Here he does a good deed that gets him in good with M. Lodge’s wife so poor Mr. Lodge. Nice expressions especially on Mr. Lodge’s face.
“Come Blow Your Horn” Archie is a walking disaster and should never be allowed near a horn. The horn is drawn realistic and as a cute instrument.
“Jingle Belles” Jingles the Christmas Elf does know how to bring out the Christmas spirit in others. When things start going wrong at Christmas time it is nice to have a magic helper from the big man himself. All the Christmas decorations make this a well-illustrated story.
“A-Caroling We Will Go” Veronica tries to improve on Betty’s idea. Poor Veronica is just not appreciated. She does provide a fun part of this Christmas story and she looks cute in her dress.
All these stories and the many more in this issue are wonderful to read and will get you in the Holiday spirit.
