Comments: “Party Hardly!” Archie’s date is Amber Nightstone, Sabrina’s archenemy. Sabrina crashes a party and faces four witches, one more powerful than her. Amber’s fiery hair and all the Halloween costumes look pretty good. This is a short story of good magic vs. evil magic.
“House of Horrors” Ginger gets rattled by a horror movie. Betty and Veronica go all out to frighten Ginger as much as they can. The girls are all drawn as cute, and Ginger is drawn as terrified.
“Costume Confusion” The Archie superheroes are shown attacking alien versions of the Crusaders. The real Crusaders show up too and then go trick-or-treating, of course. This story just flies by.
“Masque-Raiding!” The Web sees action chasing down a couple of crooks. Meanwhile, Archie sets up a triple date, poor Archie. The Web provides fun, fast action. Archie, of course, is left scared.
“The Mother of all Scare Tactics” Shinji aka Ghost Fox agrees to be in two places at once with Veronica and Betty. He is taking after Archie. Halloween does bring out the monsters, and it takes a Darkling to handle them.
This collection of spooky tales is just the thing to get you in the Halloween spirit.
