RICH INTERVIEWS: Sara Bennett  Actress “Hell’s Kitty”

First Comics News: How did you get the part in “Hell’s Kitty”?

Sara Bennett: I was contacted by my manager and he told me I had been cast. I didn’t have to audition for it, which is great.

1st: You are an actress in “Hell’s Kitty” playing the part of Debbie Rochon what was the experience like?

Sara: Obviously Debbie is an icon so it was a challenge as well as an honor. I wanted to do her justice.

1st: What exactly did you get to do in “Hell’s Kitty” on screen?

Sara: I don’t want to give anything away, but the main thing I did which made the final cut… happened on a bus.

1st: Why do you like to model for World of Warcraft and other fantasy games?

Sara: I get to portray Incredible characters and see what the artist does from the reference pictures.

1st: Do you like being portrayed as a fantasy character?

Sara: Absolutely. I would take fantasy over real life anytime.

1st: What do you wear while you model for fantasy game characters?

Sara: Usually a bathing suit. When I modeled for magic cards, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons & Dragons, those characters have very elaborate gowns. That was all created by the artist from relatively plain reference photos. Most of the time I will have a couple props but that is it.

1st: What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you recently?

Sara: I forgot to proofread a voice-to-text. ‘Getty’ to ‘daddy.’ Don’t even ask.

1st: Can you tell us something about you that no one knows but you?

Sara: One day I will write a true story that no one will ever believe.

1stWhat would you like to say to the people who watch your new show?

Sara: Thank you for watching. I hope everybody likes it. Even if they are laughing at us, as long as they are laughing I am happy. And just remember, there are no accidents. Only malfunctions.
