Sgt. Flag #3 is the third issue of the ongoing series from G-Man Comics, written by Rik Offenberger and illustrated by Gilbert Monsanto. The issue continues the adventures of Sgt. Flag is a one-man extraction unit tasked with protecting witnesses and rescuing those in danger.
In this issue, Atomik Bombshell is kidnapped by Aliens. Sgt. Flag agrees to a suicide mission to try to save her.
The story is fast-paced and exciting, and Offenberger does a great job of capturing the character of Sgt. Flag. He is a tough and no-nonsense kind of guy, but he also has a strong sense of justice.
Monsanto’s artwork is also excellent. He has a great eye for action, and he does a great job of capturing the look and feel of the Bronze Age of comic books.
Overall, Sgt. Flag #3 is a great example of the high-quality comics that G-Man Comics is putting out. If you are a fan of action-packed comics with classic characters, then you should definitely check this one out.
Here are some of the things I liked about the book:
- Fast-paced and exciting story
- Great characterization of Sgt. Flag
- Excellent artwork from Gilbert Monsanto
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
