This week I will look at “Endless # 1” from ComicXology Originals, the series follows Henry Quan, a career criminal who is left floating through space and time after his attempt to steal a costly piece of tech goes sideways (Henry needs the money to keep his mother in a nursing home). Suddenly, he starts experiencing multiple parallel lives, each vastly different from the next. Getting home and figuring out what happened is infinitely more complicated once the time streams start to slip. This series blends “Quantum Leap” with “Sliders” to perfection that is not bad by any means. Still, while a concept such as this one may be redone over and over again, this series manages to play it safe with the introduction of Henry and his life so that the readers can somehow relate to him.

Seeing as this is the first issue, the plot doesn’t bring anything new to the table and waits towards the end to expand on the concept, but overall, It’s a good read that sets up the future issue to see the numerous lives of Mr. Quan while giving the readers a way to look at this series with fresh eyes so that they don’t have to sift through another recycled multiverse story.

Well, that’s it for me this week. Thanks for sticking around and I will see you next time.
