Today, the world’s leading producer of pop culture events, announced they are bringing everyone’s literary favorites to this year’s New York Comic Con (NYCC) as #1 New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson, known for the Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive series is heading to the convention this Fall. Sanderson will join literary legends R.L. Stine, best-known for the Goosebumps series, and Leigh Bardugo, international bestselling author of the Grishaverse novels, who were announced as headlining guests earlier this month.
Sanderson will be at NYCC from October 6-8 to participate in book signings at his Dragonsteel Books booth on the show floor. Stine and Bardugo will also be at NYCC from October 6-9, and will participate in book signings, in addition to panels. Fans can bring their books from home to be signed or purchase them onsite at the event.
In addition, #1 New York Times bestselling author Pierce Brown, known for the Red Rising Saga, is making his way to Seattle for the upcoming Emerald City Comic Con. Brown joins previously announced literary guests including Tracy and Laura Hickman (The Dragonlance Series), R.A. Salvatore (The Legend of Drizzt: Glacier’s Edge, Relentless, The Crystal Shard), Delilah Dawson (The Violence, Star Wars: Phasma, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge: Black Spire), and Claudia Gray (Constellation and Firebird series, Star Wars: Lost Stars, The Murder of Mr. Wickham). Brown will be at ECCC on Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20 to sign books, take selfies with fans and appear on a panel with details to follow. In addition, Tracy and Laura Hickman, R.A. Salvatore, Delilah Dawson, and Claudia Gray will be in attendance for all four days of the convention for book signings. Fans can buy books for these authors at the event or bring their books from home to get signed.
NYCC will be taking place on October 6-9, 2022 at the Javits Center and tickets are now on sale to the general public. Also, fans can sign up to become Popverse Superfans at thepopverse.com.
ECCC will take place August 18-21, 2022 at the Seattle Convention Center (previously the Washington State Convention Center) and tickets are now on sale.
