Dynamite is excited for the big debut of the newest flagship Red Sonja series in stores this week, officially Wednesday July 19. Fans can pick up their copies from their favorite retailers and dive right into the new era of the She-Devil With a Sword, as we also celebrate five fantastic decades of the heroine’s adventures!
Writer Torunn Grønbekk (Thor, Realm of X) and franchise legend artist Walter Geovani are ready to rock this new series and bring fans along with them to a new era! A Norwegian raised on sword and sorcery sagas, Torunn has looked up to Sonja for years and her career has been building to this point. Red Sonja is on the run and wanted for murder, and it will take all of her skills, power, and intellect to survive the experience.
The first issue features a range of stunning covers for fans to choose from, across industry legends, today’s superstars, rising talents, and unique approaches to covers rarely seen.
