Witness the rise, fall, and rise again of the original titans of horror punk in “Orbit: The Misfits”. Compiled from decades of rumors overheard in NJ record shops, this graphic biography is a retrospective of one of the hardest core bands ever to emerge from the NYC Punk scene.
“This is the completion of a project I’ve been planning since I was fresh out of high school. All the way back when I was drawing for ‘Rock N’ Roll Comics’ I wanted to do a book. said writer Joe Paradise. “This script was like a love letter to that period of time between the 80s & 90s when thrash was just becoming a thing and this weird bunch of guys who looked like something out of a long-lost slasher movie with songs that were so primitive.”
The “Orbit” comic book series has been featured in “Entertainment Weekly”, “Rolling Stone” magazine, “Time” magazine, “People” magazine and has featured musical artists such as John Lennon, Dave Grohl, Metallica, Jerry Garcia, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne and more!
There are exclusive wrap-around variant covers available thru Comic Flea Market.
