Overwatch has begun their annual Lunar New Year event. This year they added the usual new, skins, sprays, and emotes. However, this year they added something new in their game modes.
In addition to “Capture The Flag,” there is now “Capture The Flag Blitz”. In this mode the same rules now apply as before, but this time the flags are closer and the flags must be retrieved six times as opposed to three.
Much like the past Halloween and Holiday events, Overwatch has added three weekly challenges to the event. This time players will be able to earn new Lunar New Year themed icons, sprays, and skins for Doomfist, Winston, and Wrecking Ball. With the weekly challenges players earn a new icon after winning three games, and new spray at six games, and the skin at nine games.
The Lunar New Year event runs from January 16 to February 5. Check out all it has to offer below:
