New York, N.Y. (April 1, 2020) — In an effort to brighten spirits for those under stay-at-home orders due to the COVID-19 virus, Fan The Flame Concepts LLC, an independent comic and graphic novel producer, today announced that Neymar Jr. Comics has released a new free special short episode from the Inked universe celebrating the April 1st holiday.
Inked: The April Fool follows the title’s protagonist Junior as he tries to solve the mystery of suddenly-missing Paris landmarks. The episode is available exclusively on its website or through the immersive experience of the Neymar Jr. Comics mobile app. The app is available in either iOS format through the App Store or Android format in the Google Play Store.
The new episode will join the rest of the Neymar Jr. Comics library of comics—more than 1,200 episodes across six languages—which were recently made free for fans who are sequestered in their homes for the duration of the pandemic. In addition, the artists of Neymar Jr. Comics are hosting free livestream artwork master classes on its Facebook page and YouTube channel.
A portion of the proceeds of Neymar Jr. Comics are donated to the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr., the athlete’s non-profit social organization.
