MOUNTIES VS WEREWOLVES by Larry Hama and Guy Dorian Sr.
From G.I. Joe icon Larry Hama, Mountie David Lawrence battles ancient werewolves in the Canadian wilderness in a 48-page debut issue.
Charge forth into the frozen heart of the 1920s Canadian wilderness with Mounties vs Werewolves, a chilling 48-page double-size debut issue from a new universe created by G.I. Joe writer, creator, and icon Larry Hama and his long-time collaborator, the creative genius and master artist Guy Dorian Sr.
Following the blockbuster success of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Compendium Kickstarter—Larry Hama is celebrated as the foremost creator of the G.I. Joe universe, crafting timeless characters from Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow to Baroness and Cobra Commander, while also writing from its debut issue until today—this monumental project unites a legendary team of world-renown creators, artists, and Kickstarter favorites to once again build a captivating world for fans to get lost in.
Larry Hama (G.I. Joe, Wolverine, Man-Thing) and Guy Dorian Sr. (John Carpenter’s Tales for a Halloween Night, John Carpenter Presents: Hyperbreed, ROM) spearhead the charge as co-creators, with Larry handling layouts and writing, and Guy on illustration, design, and edits. They’re reinforced by an all-star team of veterans including Sal Buscema (Hulk, Spider-Man), Kevin Conrad (Kiss: Psycho Circus, Spawn), Scott Hanna (Spider-Man, Detective Comics: Batman), Kelley Jones (Dracula Book 1: The Impaler, Batman), Mark Spears (Spawn, Superman), J.K. Woodward (Star Trek/Doctor Who, X-Men Origins: Beast), and Candice Han (Alien, Heavy Metal).
“Mounties vs Werewolves is DEADWOOD meets THE HOWLING with a dash of SASKATCHEWAN, and a soupçon of X-FILES,” explains Larry. “It’s gonna be KILLER.”
