Los Angeles, CA (February 13, 2025)‒Lucha VaVoom de La Liz (LVVDLL)—where world-class professional lucha libre-style wrestling, alluring burlesque goddesses, daring aerialists, comedy, music, and more collide—is returning on Thursday, March 6^th with a March Madness show at their historic home venue The Mayan Theatre (1038 S Hill St.) in downtown Los Angeles. Tickets for this 21+ event are on sale now for $62.00‒$109.00 at LuchaVaVoomdeLaLiz.com.

On the heels of their Halloween engagement (featured on FOX 11’s Good Day L.A. and the cover of Los Angeles Downtown News), LVVDLL kicks off 2025 with a one-night only hallucinatory spectacle of deranged wrestling, deliriously stirring burlesque, unhinged comedians, and more.

The wrestling lineup for March Madness includes superstar fighters like the bone-crushing Aéreo, terrifying Doble Cara, the celebrated Misterioso Jr., and TJ Perkins (former WWE cruiserweight champion), as well as Magno, XTREME Tiger, Sugar Baby, Mr. Iguana, Centinella Pig, and Los Angeles de Vavoom. Other wrestlers confirmed include fan favorites Los Crazy Chickens and Dirty Sanchez, the scatological master of lucha libre with his underhand dirty tricks and signature move “A Taste Of The Awful!” Plus, a mixed-mini’s match is confirmed between the original Octagoncito and The Lil Devil.

LVVDLL promises to deliver incendiary burlesque goddesses, twisty contortionists, and death-defying aerialists including Emma Vauxdevil (fire eater, sword swallower, and tattooed burlesque queen), Frankie Fictitious (one of burlesque’s most coveted performers, named Miss Exotic World in 2019, and a Burlesque Hall of Fame inductee), Brynn Route (marvelous contortion-trained pole artist), The Poubelle Twins, and making her LVVDLL debut rocking the Cyr wheel is Taylor Krasne. Before going onto become an actress and stunt double for the likes of Billie Eilish, Amy Adams, and Christina Ricci, Krasne graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the National Institute of Circus Arts in Australia (specializing in Cyr wheel) and was accepted into Cirque du Soleil.

Delivering insanely off-the-cuff commentary both nights will be comedian host Blaine Capatch, with a surprise comedian co-host to be announced, and returning as ring announcer extraordinaire is the international heartthrob Ignacio Serricchio.

LVVDLL was originally co-founded in 2002 by Liz Fairbairn as Lucha VaVOOM (LVV), which went on to become Los Angeles’ longest-running, most celebrated variety show, wowing audiences across the globe for over 20 years. In February 2022, LVV re-emerged out of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Fairbairn alone curating, producing, directing, and financing close to twenty LVV shows through 2023 (including LVV’s 20^th anniversary celebration throughout 2022, as well as the launch of a Las Vegas residency at the legendary House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, which kicked off in July ‘23 with two shows, with more dates to come). As LVV’s sole producer for those two years, Fairbairn also oversaw and directed a special tribute show (Sept. ‘23), in partnership with Amazon Prime Video, honoring her close friend and one of LVV’s biggest stars, the trailblazing lucha libre wrestler and queer icon Cassandro. Plus, Fairbairn brokered two unique cross-promotional collaborations for LVV with major movie studios, including with Sony Pictures for their original action thriller film Bullet Train (July ‘22) and Warner Bros. Pictures’ for their feature film Blue Beetle (August ‘23). Fairbairn kicked off 2024 with her new production company ‒ Lucha VaVoom de La Liz.
