(Hunt Valley, MD) — (January 26, 2024) — Diamond Book Distributors is pleased to announce that it has signed a worldwide distribution agreement Magma Comix to exclusively distribute their products to North American and international book markets. Distribution to the comic book specialty market is handled exclusively by Diamond Comic Distributors.
Magma Comix was founded in 2020 by industry veteran Denton J. Tipton (IDW Publishing, Opus Comics) with the vision to create extraordinary stories that move and entertain mature audiences across the globe. Since releasing their first titles in partnership with the legendary Heavy Metal Magazine, the company has grown into an independent publisher committed to empowering comic book creators with the freedom and support necessary to bring their 100% creator-owned passion projects to life.
“My direct connection to Diamond goes back nearly 25 years, when my partner and I started a comic shop funded largely by student loans and Magic cards,” said Magma Comix CEO, Denton Tipton. “Times have changed, but one thing that hasn’t is our shared love of the comics medium. Magma Comix will start its rollout of forthcoming titles, including Silicon Bandits (Jason Starr, Dalibor Talajić) and Principles of Necromancy (Jackson Lanzing & Collin Kelly, Eamon Winkle) this summer.
