Dan Baillie was a police officer in Scotland who had a great idea and wanted to get it out to the world. This story was originally composed as a large Reddit thread, where it quickly garnered a cult following through r/nosleep. Roy Lee and his team found this gem and knew it could become a hit horror story.
ABOUT LOOK OUT: When Oscar, recuperating from a divorce, takes a job as a fire lookout in a remote forest outpost, he unearths a paper inscribed with a strange set of rules that promise to keep him safe during his watch. This thriller features gorgeous full-color painted illustrations by acclaimed cover artist Tim Bradstreet (The Punisher, Hellblazer) and marks the debut of the FUTURE OF FEAR collaboration between AWA and acclaimed producer Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment (Barbarian, It, Late Night with the Devil).
