The St. Louis Publisher of “Comics for Everyone” Has Something for Everyone this Convention Season
ST. LOUIS, MO—Just less than a week ahead of the opening of the exhibit hall at Emerald City Comic Con, Lion Forge reveals a full slate of signings, programming and more between two fan favorite conventions this month!

Comics and graphic novels are more popular than ever amongst children and YA readers, giving publishers and librarians a prime opportunity to introduce a new generation to graphic literature for adults. Libraries and Schools have seen a huge growth in kids comics as well as continued growth with teen comic readers – how to help these readers grow into lifelong comics readers? Hear from comic creators on the comics they make for adult readers and how they progressed from childhood comic fans (or were they comics fans as kids…?!) to adult readers of comics. Also hear how about the vital importance of adult readership of comics as modeling tool for parents, educators, and librarians. This panel is brought to you by the American Library Association’s Graphic Novels & Comics Round Table (GNCRT). Follow the GNCRT @libcomix.
Later that day, you can catch her back on the convention floor at 5:45PM on the SyFy Wire Live Stage, where she will talk in detail about the recently announced Catalyst Prime: Seven Days!
