LAS VEGAS TRAFFIC movie playing now

MAKING A DIFFERENCE & KICKING ASS TOO!!

“Vegas Traffic” is a new film set to make waves in 2025, shining a spotlight on the critical issue of child trafficking in Las Vegas. This independently produced action-drama follows two detectives as they race against time to rescue a kidnapped girl, uncovering a sinister child trafficking ring in the process. The film is a passion project for its creators, including actor/writer/producer Trenton Brisco, director/producer Joseph Charafi, and actor/producer John Molinaro.

I had a blast attending one of its screenings with participation from local government and a lively Q n A session afterwards. I can tell you that Trenton Brisco is the real deal and is probably too honest for the movie industry. I will always support anything he is attached to. Inspired by the impact of “The Sound of Freedom,” the team set out to create a Vegas-centric story that would raise awareness about human trafficking.

Cast and Crew

“Vegas Traffic” features a talented cast, including:

  • John Molinaro and Kevin L. Sanders as the lead detectives
  • Chloe Sligar as Maria, the kidnapped girl
  • John Di Domenico in a dramatic turn as Sgt. Barnes

The production brought together over 200 Las Vegas film enthusiasts who donated their time and skills to the project, united by a shared desire to shed light on this critical issue.

The film follows two detectives, described as an “odd couple,” who must find a kidnapped girl before she’s auctioned and transported out of the country. Their investigation leads them down a dark path, exposing a large-scale child trafficking operation in Las Vegas. Chloe Sligar captivates as an abducted little girl, so much in fact I cast her in my film off seeing her here and listening to her interview on the red carpet.

“Vegas Traffic” aims to educate viewers about the signs of human trafficking and the importance of awareness. The filmmakers worked closely with local law enforcement to ensure accuracy in portraying the issue. John Molinaro really shines as the gritty blue line hardcase that has seen it all. Watching him is a highlight.

The film premiered in November 2024 at The Beverly Theater in Las Vegas. Additional screenings have been scheduled, including one at NOTORIETY in downtown Las Vegas on March 1, 2025. The event will feature a Q&A panel with the filmmakers and a cocktail hour

The creators of “Vegas Traffic” hope their film will not only entertain but also educate audiences about the realities of human trafficking in Las Vegas and beyond. They emphasize the importance of recognizing warning signs and knowing how to respond.
