Second Sight Publishing is announcing in time for the San Diego Comic Con their recent acquisition Journal of the Dead by Alverne Ball. Alverne is the writer of the critically acclaimed graphic novel, Across the Tracks, as well as a writer on the upcoming horror anthology, SHOOK! A Black Horror anthology from Dark Horse comics.
Journal of the Dead is a one-shot, 38 page full color horror/thriller comic that follows 8 survivors of a zombie apocalypse as they search for a safe haven called the Levy. As the survivors transverse and combat the natural elements as well as the undead, they are slowly being killed off, not by zombies, but by a serial killer. Writer/Creator: Alverne Ball. Journal of the Dead will be released this fall from Second Sight Publishing.
