What is Jackson Comics?
Jackson Comics is the first ever comic book anthology to feature solely Mississippi artists and writers.
Celebrating 200 Years of Jackson, Mississippi in 2022, Jackson Comics was a project that brought together artists and writers from around the state to create the first-ever Mississippi made comic book anthology. Ranging in styles and genres, this first issue was a celebration of the many creative communities of our home.

Jackson Comics #2 features seven student artists, ranging from middle school to college level. Each of these artists were tasked with the same simple prompt: “What does the future look like?” In this issue are their answers – and some of them may surprise you.
Supporting this Kickstarter means offering more opportunities for our young artists and writers. In turn, you’ll receive wholly original and incredibly unique short stories collected into one 50 page comic book!
